Who We Are.
The Bottle Hunters are a group of whiskey enthusiasts driven by a passion for tasting the past. What started as a shared curiosity has grown into a pursuit of America’s rich whiskey heritage—each bottle a time capsule waiting to be opened. Our goal is simple: gather two to three times a year to experience and appreciate vintage spirits, with a strong focus on bottles that carry real history. There’s nothing quite like opening something distilled during Prohibition—or even before the turn of the 20th century—and taking in a piece of the past, one pour at a time. We’re always on the hunt, searching for America’s long-lost treasures and the stories sealed inside them.
Why We Do This.
It’s always been about the love of whiskey. When shared among fellow enthusiasts, it creates a bond that can last a lifetime. There’s nothing better than getting together and swapping stories while reflecting on the history and craftsmanship of those who made it all possible. For over a decade, this tradition has only grown richer. Each year brings a deeper appreciation, not just for the whiskey itself, but for the generations of skilled hands that have perfected the craft. It’s more than a drink—it’s a connection to the past, to each other, and to something built to stand the test of time.
